The Institute for Ecclesiastical History, Heraldry and Phaleristics is a Research Institute of Johann Heinrich Pestalozzi Christian University. It is headed by the Dean of the Institute, Dr. Salvatore Olivari de la Moneda, CDM, RAM, SGASD, IIGH, Dottore Stud Rel, Hon DHum. Prof. Stephan U. Breu, MBA, DBA, Hon EdD, FGMS is a Senior Research Fellow of the Institute. The Institute aims to promote research into ecclesiastical history as it relates to the development of chivalry and heraldry. The Institute is especially interested in the development of heraldry and phaleristics used in the ancient orders of chivalry that developed in the context of Christian thought and culture. The Institute is in the process of reviewing the insititution of a University Diploma by submission of a research paper.
