Bachelor of Ministry (by Advanced Placement)
Degree Requirements
The Bachelor of Ministry degree (B.Min.) is only available by advanced placement as a top-up program to approved ordination training programs. The University maintains a list of approved ordination programs. The B.Min. degree is only awarded as an unclasssified pass degree. Suitably approved candidates are exempted from 90 of the 120 credits required to obtain a bachelor's degree. The course of study is of 30 credits duration. The standard of study and work required is that of a final year undergraduate. The B.Min. is only awarded as a pass degree. Should a candidate fail to meet the required satisfactory standard for the award of the B.Min., after written resubmissions or a retake of the oral presentation, it is likely that the candidate will be awarded a Diploma in Ministry (Dip.Min.) as the terminal award.

1) UNIXXX--Recognition of Prior Study (90 credits)
2) THL401--Supervised Writing or Practicum (6 x 3 credits)*
3) THL403 --Supervised Ministerial Project (12 credits)
4) THL406--Presentation and Defense of the Ministerial Project (0 credits)
*Old Testament (up to two papers may be selected from different aspects)
New Testament (up to two papers may be selected from different aspects)
Dogmatics (up to two papers may be selected from different aspects)
Canon Law
Church History (up to two papers may be selected from different aspects)
Comparative Religion
Liturgy and Worship (up to two papers may be selected from different aspects)
