New Emeritous Fellow

The University is delighted to announce that following his retirement as research fellow in Music and Christian Humanities, Peter Hunter has accepted a position as our first Emeritous Fellow. The leading scholar on Robin Milford of his generation and a recognised author on English music of the twentieth century, Peter studied at the London College of Music under William Lloyd Webber, Gordon Phillips and others before following a career in teaching, returning to academia in later years. His experience, knowledge and support have been valued both at JHPCU and VCM where he will continue to be a welcome presence in a more informal role. We thank him for his service and look forward to his continued contributions and writing to our academic life.
